Welcome to the Black Hawk Robotics team page! Our team is a diverse group of hardworking individuals, ranging from freshmen to seniors, united together to learn, problem-solve, think, build, program, and create through robotics. Robotics programs teach mathematics and engineering skills, along with critical thinking and logic. Robotics encourages a new generation of scientists, mathematicians and engineers.
This year we’re competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), an international robotics competition. In FRC, teams build and compete with a robot that must be able to achieve specific goals, within a strict time limit, at designated competitions. Last year, the FRC challenge was to shoot frisbees into specific goals. At the Dallas Regional FRC event, Black Hawk Robotics won the Imagery Award. We also won the competition, qualifying us for the FRC National Championships where we made it to the semifinals. In our offseason competition, Texas Robot Roundup, we went undefeated and won the competition. For more on this year's competition, please check out the FIRST Page
